**Fostering a dog for rescue is not the same as adoption. Foster families or individuals are volunteers who provide temporary housing and care for dogs in our program for the length of time it takes to find them a permanent home.
In the event you find you wish to adopt the dog you are fostering, the same criteria and fees apply as would with any adopter. All things being equal, however, fosters are given priority to adopt their fostered dog.**
